It is not necessary to be a Veteran or active military member to join the American Legion Family. Each group has different criteria for membership and an extremely important role in delivering support and services to our Veterans, active military, their loved ones, our Community and our Country. This is accomplished by participating in activities both inside and outside of the Legion Family.
