Hello Fellow Squadron Members,
The frys are over for another year. What a great turnout to all of them. They take a lot of volunteers to host them and we all had a great response from the Legion family.
Now with the beginning of summer, we will be gearing up for a busy season.
- On May 3rd will be the Kentucky Derby pot luck. This is always a great time with some dressing the part just as if they were at the Derby.
- Poppy day is May 9th. I will be sending out a Google message for volunteers to help with this.
- We will be hosting Burger Night on May 14.
- Monday May 26th is Memorial Day. We will have a program at the Century School. Along with that, we will be going to the Red Bridge, then to the All Veterans Memorial for a short program and Flag Disposal. There will be a lunch to follow at the Legion Post that is open to everyone.
Good luck to all fishermen and women on opening weekend.
Wear R.E.D. Fridays until they all come home,
Bob Cadreau
