The month of March brings us Daylight Savings time, St. Patty’s Day and the beginning of Spring!!

Tuesday, March 4th, is the annual chili cook-off.  The American Legion Auxiliary will be serving Erin’s famous “sweet potato chili.”   All donations toward the American Legion Auxiliary chili will help our team raise the most funds to earn the “People’s Choice” award or the most VOTES for the “Crowd Favorite” award!!  Come cheers us on! All proceeds will go to the Hubbard County Food Shelf.

Don’t forget, Sunday, March 9th we “spring forward” into daylight savings time!

Friday, March 14th, is the American Legion Auxiliary fish fry. Join us and enjoy a delicious fish dinner! We will get you “hooked”.

Saturday, March 15th, is the birthday of the American Legion!!! It was established in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization.  It is 106 years old and one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States.  Join us on March 11th for some birthday cake at our monthly meeting!!

Monday, March 17th, is St. Patty’s Day! “May your day be touched by some Irish luck”!!! The Legion will be serving corned beef and cabbage along with green beer and grasshoppers!! It is always so delicious!  Hope to see you there!
