Great news! Representatives from the Park Rapids Legion Family have been in contact with the Park Rapids and Nevis High School counselors and are now accepting scholarship applications from students planning to obtain a post-secondary education.

At the local level, each group (American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, and Sons of the American Legion) have a set number of scholarships available ranging from $750 – $2500 and we encourage students to apply. The counselors have the information needed in order to assist students with any questions they may have in regard to the process.

National Opportunities

In addition to our local offerings, the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary also provide opportunities at the national level. This may be an additional source of funds for parents and students to consider applying for. The links below provide access to the information on those opportunities.
