Well, I have the first month of being the new bar manager under my belt and things are going quite well. Still learning things every day!
Unfortunately, we are discontinuing our 2 for 1 drink special June 1st but we are replacing it with another happy hour from 1-2pm. We also have free juke box from 2-4pm on Saturdays this summer.
This spring the Legion has and is continuing to be busy with regular monthly meetings, dinners, banquets, etc.
The first day of summer is Wednesday, June 20th. It also happens to be the longest day of the year.
Father’s Day is June 16th, Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there.
Flag Day for the year 2023 is celebrated/observed on Friday, June 14th. Flag Day is observed on June 14 to honor and commemorate the adoption of the American flag which occurred on this day in 1777 by the Second Continental Congress.
Important Military Dates in June: PTSD Awareness Month, 6/6 D-Day, 6/11-6/17 National Flag Week, 6/12 Women Veterans Day, 6/14 Army Birthday, 6/14 U.S. Flag Day, 6/19 Juneteenth, 6/23 Coast Guard Auxiliary Birthday, 6/27 PTSD Awareness Day.
Thank you for all that you do!
Todd
