I am sorry to report that we lost one of our members. Chuck Schmitz passed away Jan. 22 from an apparent heart attack. His funeral will be Jan. 31 at 11:00am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids. We will have an Honor Guard at the funeral along with all members that can make it there. Please keep Coral and family in your prayers. We have some things planned for February. Our meeting will be Feb. 10th at 6:00.
We will have signup sheets for the following activities.
- We have been asked to put together a Trivia Team for Tuesday nights starting at 7:00pm. It is gaining momentum so check it out.
- We will host the Burger Night on Feb. 19th.
- We have also booked a meatball dinner for Feb. 21 with prep on Thursday Feb. 20th. It seems we plan everything the same week.
The Bar Manager (Todd) has some entertaining activities planned for the month also. Stop in, pick up a calendar, have a beverage or two, and see what is going on.
To our lovely spouses and special ladies, we wish you a Happy Valentines Day. We would like to thank all of you for all the support you give to our Legion Family.
