Hello February!!!

February is known for being the shortest month of the year, Groundhog Day, Super Bowl and of course Valentines Day. Do you have a “date” for Valentines Day? The date I have is February 14.

The Auxiliary will take Valentines to local veterans living in Park Rapids facilities. Valentine’s let our veterans know they are not forgotten and to say thank you for their service!!

Our February Auxiliary meeting is Tuesday the 11th at 6:30. Come to our meetings and see that there is no limit to the amount of good that we can do. Please let me know if you are interested in a brain storming Legion Family meeting that will occur mid-February. For more info, see Commander Ron’s news letter.

Trivia, a new event, is happening every Tuesday night at 7pm in the Legion bar. Come and have some fun!

February is also known as the month of “LOVE”. Let’s take the step to put a little more love in the world and lift up our veteran heroes with love and honor.
