Happy March!
Hopefully everyone made it through the “extremely cold spell” we had. The calendar for March is busy with Fish Fry’s, Banquets, Dinners, and meetings. The 4th of March is the 15th annual Chili challenge here at the legion. The Fish Fry’s will continue Friday March 6th with the last one on Good Friday, April 3rd. Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner on Tuesday March 17, St. Patrick’s Day starting at 4:30 pm until gone.

March 3, 2026 – Navy Reserve Birthday
March 13, 2026 – K-9 Veterans Day – Official birthday of the U.S. K-9 Corps. The Army founded the K-9 Corps in 1942 during WWII to train dogs to help troops.
March 13, 2026 – American Legion Birthday
March 25, 2026 – Medal of Honor Day – A holiday to honor the heroism and sacrifice of Medal of Honor recipients for the United States.
March 29, 2026 – Vietnam Veterans Day – A national holiday to recognize and honor Veterans who served in the military during the Vietnam War. Learn more about Vietnam Veterans Day here.
