Good morning from the Park Rapids Legion. I would like to give a great big shout out to all of our members that helped out making our 23rd annual Backyard Basha huge success. I great big thank you our Auxiliary for helping get the food made and especially desilking the sweet corn (nobody likes that job)! Thank you to the post members that did all the cooking and serving, kudos to you guys! I can’t forget the SAL for helping get everything set-up and tear down, lots of sweat goes into that job! The Past Presidents pie sale was a huge success, thank you ladies for the awesome job! It takes a lot of people to pull this off and without you we couldn’t have done it! THANK YOU!
I would like to say a special thanks to some of our local businesses that helped in making this a success.
Charlies Marine-Thank you Andrew and team for donating the stage this year!
R&R Rental-They donated the small tents and the dunk tank. The dunk tank raised $263 for the Auxiliary school supply drive. Thank you, R&R Rental
Pike’s Sweet Corn-Thank you to Nate the crew for their donation of sweet corn. Thank you for husking it! Another job nobody likes!
Hugo’s-Thank You Bob Cadreau for making sure we had all of the necessities and making a few extra runs to make sure we had enough provisions for everyone to enjoy our fixin’s!
Mainstreet Meats-Thank you for the great burgers and brats again this year, awesome as always. Thanks to the staff for delivering and bringing over the extra burgers after hours!
I would also like to thank the All-class reunion group for letting us host your reunion party weekend! I hope everyone enjoyed the great food and festivities. The Front Fenders were amazing!
I also want to give a shout out to the surrounding area for coming out and supporting our annual event. I hope you all enjoyed and some of you I hoped you have recovered!
