Spring is here and now is the time to rejuvenate and bring some fresh ideas to the Legion.  We are always open to new ideas!!  With that being said, the nominating committee is hard at work looking for members to run for office. Please don’t wait for them to ask, step up and volunteer.

We have a couple of upcoming patriotic holidays in April.
April 5 is Gold Star Spouses Day. We remember the spouses of the fallen by sending a card, making a phone call or visiting them in person. Treat them to coffee and ask them to share stories about their spouse who gave their life for us and our nation.

April 9 is “Veterans on the Hill 2025”.  It will run from 10 AM to 2 PM.  It includes lunch, a presentation and short rally walk from the armory to the State Veterans Service Building.  All supporters of veterans are welcome.

April 27 is Arbor Day. This is the holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees.

The legion fish fries have been going great!  Thank you to all that volunteer and thank you to those that enjoy the food!!!

A number of other events are scheduled for April. See the April calendar on the website. Note: Tuesday, April 8 is the auxiliary meeting at 6:30 PM.  Come join us and see what we are all about!

Thank you for your dedicated work and volunteer spirit.
For God and Country,
Auxiliary President, Dorothy Pierzinski
